Easy Ways to Maintain White Bathroom Tiles
White is a perfect colour to have for tiles in your bathroom but to keep these white bathroom tiles sparkling could be a difficult job. Cleaning agents could be pretty expensive to use and you might want to use them sparingly. But white tiles require regular cleaning – you can make natural cleaners at home. They are effective and economical.
Common Dirt Cleaner for White Bathroom Tiles
Take a cup of baking soda, one fourth cup of lemon juice, three tablespoons of salt, three tablespoons of dishwashing liquid and half a cup of vinegar. Mix all the ingredients together and tumble this mixture in a bottle. This instantly removes all stains from white tiles.
Grout and Tile Cleaner
The grout attracts dirt easily and a thick greasy layer could form on it. In order to remove this mix together one teaspoon dishwashing liquid, half a cup of baking soda and one fourth cup of hydrogen peroxide. Apply this mixture on the white bathroom wall and floor tiles and grout and leave it for thirty minutes. Use a sponge to scrub it clean. You will have sparkling tiles and grout in no time.
Stubborn Spots and Stains Cleaner
If you have really tough stains which are seem to be stuck on your bathroom tiles then you can use a mixture of two tablespoons borax, half a cup of baking soda, three tablespoons of dishwashing liquid and two tablespoons of washing soda. Spread this mixture on the tiles and leave it for about 45 minutes. Use a hard-bristled brush to scrub the tiles. Rinse with plain water and your white tiles for bathroom will look fresh and new.
While these cleaners are for stains and tough spots you can use a sponge soaked in white vinegar to wipe your tiles and then scrub with baking powder with a brush to maintain them and keep them shining white always.
